“If I have to evaluate the success of the IPC conference – 2017 in Al Ahsa, KSA titled “Sharing Knowledge, Inducing Change”, I can confidently say that the conference exceeded its objectives:
Provided insights into the latest achievements in infection prevention and control
Served as a platform for the participants to interact with leading experts in health policy and infection control
Highlighted best practices used by leading hospitals in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Gulf Region in the control of healthcare-associated infections
Provided opportunities for networking with other delegates from across the healthcare sector and the exchange of ideas on different approaches to infection prevention and control
Introduced new technologies and techniques used in the field of prevention and control of infections
Infection Prevention and Control conference and exhibition in Al Ahsa during December 2017 was a total success by all standards. The organizers (Al Moosa Specialist Hospital and Knowlex) and the sponsors (Ministry of Health and others) collaborated to ensure that all participants were exposed to the state-of-the-art information in a comfortable and well-organised environment.
The careful selection of contemporary issues in the field of infection prevention and control by the scientific committee and the choice of world-known speakers were the leading factors that contributed to the successful convention. This is in addition to the unlimited support from Al Moosa Specialist Hospital and the right choice of the venue at the right season in the year.
Knowlex and Al Moosa Specialist Hospital staff displayed a high level of professionalism throughout the entire event.
It was an honour and a privilege for me to participate in this conference as a speaker and I hope that I was able to contribute to the overall outcome.
All arrangements and preparations were fine, good media coverage, the location is great. Timing was perfect and there was a variety of topics”.
“The event allowed us to create awareness about contamination at floor level. The interest here on this topic was high given many are looking to reduce the risk of infection at the source. The event allowed Dycem to communicate its offerings in a qualitative format. We look forward to the results”
